TIDE is a comprehensive performance combining sound, impromptu soundtrack and impromptu dance.The idea comes from the tidal sound of Nam Co Lake recorded by Xuan Liu in Tibet.
She tries to introduce this natural sound into art gallery changing audiences’ experience of space. The project tries to break down the inner energy of the sound. The energy guides dancers’ impromptu physical contact and the interaction of musicians’ vocals and music.
Dancers exchange the energy of sound with audiences and artists by impromptu dancing. The energy exchange between human and nature is the most important part of this project.
