While it is deeply problematic to talk about ‘culture’ as a single, homogenous block, we can avoid the problem of overgeneralization by cashing out the notion of an auditory culture in terms of the shared likenesses heard in sounds among a community of listeners.

The analogy issue of one object could have the feature more than its visual or acoustic characteristics. For instance, when a knocking-sound reach our auditory system, it could make us think this sound as typifying aggressively. This is the issue of “predicate”, we may get a similar type of feeling with another different sound, or even acquiring the feeling via our visual sense.
Therefore, this made me thinking of that: How can we express those sense of invisible analogy issues at the same time? Can we express the matter of “Shape and Sound” in practice by applying the analogy issue?
Along with those queries, I began thinking about the analogy issue for human sense organs (e.g. auditory system, visual sense system) during the practice.

At series no.2 I mainly focus on the issue of Echo Sound. I tried to transmit a relative response and connection to the audience by using the installations which have repeated and superposed visual shape.
At series no.3, I use the combination of shaking balloon and concrete slab, in order to bring a sense of dangerous power to the audience.
Hence applying with analogy issue, I reinforced the sound quality by making the process of sound-distortion.
